Font License Agreement

All Awal Studio fonts are sold under a perpetual, non-exclusive license. You pay once and use the fonts forever — no subscriptions, no renewals. Choose the license tier that matches how you plan to use the fonts.

Desktop License

For designers, offices, and studios working on print and static media.

Allowed Uses
  • Print materials (flyers, posters, packaging)
  • Logo design and branding
  • Social media images (static exports)
  • Presentations and pitch decks
  • Office documents

  • Up to 5 workstations
Not Allowed
  • Web embedding (@font-face)
  • App embedding

Webfont License

For web developers and site owners embedding fonts on websites.

Allowed Uses
  • @font-face embedding
  • CSS usage on websites
Limits
  • Up to 10,000 monthly pageviews
  • 1 domain per license

  • Desktop installation
  • App use

App License

For app developers embedding fonts in mobile or desktop applications.

  • Embed in mobile apps
  • Embed in desktop apps

  • 1 application

Digital Ads License

For marketers and ad agencies creating digital advertising materials.

General Terms

  • All licenses are perpetual (one-time purchase) and non-exclusive.
  • Licenses are non-transferable without prior written permission from Awal Studio.
  • Font files may not be resold, redistributed, sub-licensed, or given away to third parties.
  • Modification of the font files (renaming, converting, editing outlines) is not permitted.
  • Contractors and freelancers may use fonts on your behalf while working on your project, but may not retain copies after the engagement ends.
  • If you exceed the quantitative limits of your license tier, you must purchase an additional or upgraded license before continued use.
  • Awal Studio reserves the right to audit compliance with these terms upon reasonable notice.
  • This agreement is governed by the laws of Indonesia.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. All Awal Studio font licenses are one-time purchases. Once you buy a license, you can use the fonts forever — there are no renewal fees or subscriptions.

License transfers are only possible with prior written permission from Awal Studio. Please contact us to request a transfer.

If your usage exceeds the limits of your current tier (e.g., more pageviews, more workstations), you need to purchase an upgraded license. Contact us and we will help you find the right tier.

Yes. Each font purchase includes its own license. If you buy multiple fonts, each one is covered by the license tier you selected at checkout.

No. Modifying, decompiling, reverse-engineering, renaming, or converting font files is not permitted under any license tier.

Contractors and freelancers may use the fonts on your behalf while working on your project. However, they may not retain copies of the font files after the engagement ends.
